About me

I am unashamedly a believer in the birth, life, ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In simple terms, I represent God. That means I also desire for other people to know the truth I have found. Not only to know the truth but to take the next step and have more than a religion—to have a relationship with the Creator of the Universe.

I am a cancer survivor for which I am deeply thankful. My heart is tender to people who have been through or are going through this journey. I pray that someday every patient can use the word survivor. Cancer is truly life-altering for the majority of people. The changes can be physical, emotional, spiritual, or all of these. In my case, visiting with newly diagnosed patients, being that soundboard and safe place for them, is something I never would have previously imagined. Another change in my life is sharing in a written format which was not in my wheelhouse before the cancer experience.

I am also called a wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and prayer partner. Each one of these names means something special to me.

I tend to take life seriously but also enjoy new adventures and laughter. Thank you for stopping at Promise Seeker and learning a little bit about me.
